Busy Boards by Dewald

Busy Boards by Dewald — Handcrafted Sensory Toys for Toddlers

Busy Boards by Dewald is a South African business specialising in premium, handcrafted busy boards for toddlers and young children aged 1 to 4. Each board is lovingly made to order, packed with interactive elements — latches, zippers, buckles, buttons, locks, and more — designed to develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and independent thinking through play.

Drawing on Montessori principles, every sensory board is built from child-safe, non-toxic materials and constructed to withstand years of enthusiastic little hands. These boards are screen-free, endlessly engaging, and genuinely developmental — making them a favourite with parents looking for quality educational toys that truly deliver.

Custom Orders and Standard Designs

Busy Boards by Dewald offers a range of standard board designs as well as fully bespoke busy boards tailored to your child's age, interests, and developmental stage. Custom orders are welcome — simply reach out via the website to discuss requirements and the team will craft something special.

Whether you are looking for a unique birthday gift, a Christmas present, or simply a quality toy to keep little ones happily occupied, Busy Boards by Dewald delivers South African craftsmanship with care.
